Brazil Tax Agency Releases Updated Version of Electronic Bookkeeping Platform for ICMS, IPI

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Office Sept. 5 announced the release of an updated digital tax bookkeeping system (EFD version 3.1.1) for the state goods and services tax (ICMS) and industrialized products tax (IPI). The updates include: 1) the correction of the guidance for filling a specific field of the C190 record; and 2) the inclusion of specific registers in mandatory registration rule 1900.
