Brazil Tax Agency Releases Updated Version of Electronic Bookkeeping Platform for ICMS, IPI

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Office March 8 announced the release of an updated digital tax bookkeeping system (EFD version 3.0.4) for the state goods and services tax (ICMS) and the industrialized products tax (IPI). The updates include: 1) correction of the error message for alerting to the absence of the H005 record; and 2) correction of mandatory records C591, C595, and C597, in the output of profile B to OC - document model 66, as defined in the practical guide.
