Bulgaria Assembly Considers Bill to Introduce Zero VAT Rate for Specific Goods

The Bulgarian National Assembly Jan. 28 accepted for consideration Bill No. 47-254-01-15, to introduce a zero VAT rate for: 1) water and natural gas, electricity, and central heating; 2) food products and beverages; and 3) medicinal products and medical equipment used to treat disabilities.
