Bulgaria Gazettes Decree on 2022 State Budget

The Bulgarian Official Gazette March 4 published Decree No. 74, on the 2022 state budget. The decree includes measures: 1) increasing the minimum wage to 710 Bulgarian leva (US$395) from 650 leva (US$361), effective April 1; 2) exempting from tax food vouchers provided by employers, up to 200 Bulgarian leva (US$111) per month; and 3) providing a tax deduction for expenses on supplies received to combat the coronavirus, using a tax credit.
