Bulgaria Gazettes Law on 2025 Budgets for State Social Security, National Health Insurance Funds

The Bulgarian Official Gazette March 25 published Decree Nos. 51 and 52, on the State Social Security and National Health Insurance Fund budgets for 2025. The decrees include measures: 1) maintaining the 8 percent mandatory health insurance contribution rate for 2025; 2) increasing the minimum monthly social security income for self-insured individuals to 1,077 Bulgarian leva (US$592) from 933 leva (US$512) from April 1 to Dec. 31; 3) increasing the maximum monthly social security income for all insured individuals to 4,130 leva (US$2,270) from 3,750 leva (US$2,061) from April 1 to Dec. 31; and 4) maintaining, for 2025, the 780 ...
