The Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy Oct. 11 announced the government’s decision to increase minimum wages, effective Jan. 1, 2024. The announcement includes increases in: 1) the monthly minimum wage, to 933 Bulgarian leva (US$503.47) from 780 leva (US$420.91); and 2) the hourly minimum wage, to 5.58 leva (US$3.01).
