The Bulgarian Ministry of Finance Nov. 3 posted a draft bill on the 2026 state budget. The draft bill includes measures to: 1) increase to 620.20 euros (US$714.36) the minimum wage and minimum social security income for self-insured individuals, from Jan. 1, 2026; 2) increase the maximum social security income for all insured individuals to 2,352 euros (US$2,708) for 2026, to 2,505 (US$2,884) for 2027, and to 2,659 euros (US$3,062) for 2028; 3) increase to 460.17 euros (US$529) the monthly childcare allowance for children up to 2 years of age and fathers, including adoptive fathers, caring for a child up ...
