Bulgaria Tax Agency Announces Deadline to Submit Certain Amended Individual, Corporate Income Tax Returns

The Bulgarian National Revenue Agency Sept. 14 announced the Sept. 30 deadline to file certain amended individual income and corporate income returns. The deadline applies to: 1) annual individual income tax returns; and 2) annual corporate tax returns for legal entities, sole proprietors, and farmers that opted for taxation as a sole proprietor or individual operating as a trader. Taxpayers are permitted to file the returns one time to make corrections related to the previous year’s taxes. The returns can be submitted electronically through the agency’s website.
