Business Wants More Transparent EU Carbon Border Tax Registry

Companies want greater transparency and clearer advice on how the European Union’s carbon border adjustment mechanism, known as CBAM, will operate.

Several companies and trade associations asked for more detail on the electronic database of companies that will file and manage CBAM declarations and conduct checks, in response to a consultation that closed Thursday.
