Businesses Support Single EU VAT Registration, Group Says

Companies would support the EU expanding a “one-stop shop” system for the value-added tax, but cautioned against new VAT rules for sharing economy platforms, the U.S. Council for International Business said Thursday.

The European Commission is looking for feedback as it considers updates to VAT rules and systems for the digital age.
