The Cambodian General Department of Taxation March 11 issued Sub-Decree No. 47, on the patent tax rate for taxpayers engaged in business activities. The sub-decree sets the annual patent tax at: 1) 400,000 Cambodian riels (US$99) for small taxpayers; 2) 1.2 million riels (US$297) for average taxpayers; 3) 3 million riels (US$742) for large taxpayers; and 4) 5 million riels (US$1,237) for large taxpayers whose turnover exceeds 10 billion riels (US$2.4 million).
