Canal+ Settles VAT Dispute With French Tax Authorities

Canal+ announced it has reached a settlement with French tax authorities over a dispute related to the VAT rate applicable to television subscriptions, committing to pay €363 million.

  • Settlement follows tax authority clarifications published in Sept. 2025
  • Company expects no significant additional adjustments from future tax audits and has decided not to make any additional provision in its accounts
