Chile’s Lower House Finance Committee approved in general the government’s tax reform bill with eight votes in favor and five against, according to a video of the session on the Lower House’s YouTube channel.
- The committee still has to vote on an article-by-article basis before the legislation can head to a floor vote
- All pro-government deputies voted in favor with all opposition deputies against
