The Chilean Ministry of Finance April 30 announced an agreement for increases in the monthly minimum wage for 2025 and 2026. The agreement includes increases to: 1) 529,000 Chilean pesos (US$557.42) from 510,636 pesos (US$538.07), from May 1; and 2) 539,000 pesos (US$568.07), from Jan. 1, 2026. The announcement also includes that the Single Family Subsidy and Family Allowance will increase to 22,007 pesos (US$23),13,505 pesos (US$14), and 4,267 pesos (US$4.49), based on income bracket.
