Chile Senate Votes to Ratify Tax Treaty with US, Advancing Pact

Chile’s Senate unanimously approved a tax treaty with the US on Wednesday, bringing the agreement one step closer to taking effect.

The agreement must now be signed by Chile’s president, and the two nations must notify each other that they have completed all necessary procedures before the treaty is implemented.
