Chile Tax Agency Issues Resolution Exempting Gas Company From Invoicing Requirements Under General VAT Regime

The Chilean Internal Revenue Service June 28 issued Resolution No. 58, exempting a Chilean company, Gas De Chile SA, from complying with invoicing requirements under the general VAT regime. The resolution includes a measure requiring the company to issue electronic sales and service tickets on direct sales of liquified petroleum gas to final consumers.
