China Expanding E-Commerce Zone Tax Benefits

China is extending the tax benefits of its pilot cross-border e-commerce zones to encompass the cities and districts that are hosting the project.

Municipal and district governments overseeing the current 21 free trade zones and 105 pilot zones where the benefits exist are now allowed to expand the tax and other benefits to their entire areas, the Commerce Ministry said in a March 22 statement.
