China’s Ministry of Finance has approved a plan to manage accountants and accounting companies the authorities consider “dishonest”, according to the ministry’s website.
- Accountants and firms with business suspended for 12 months will be put on a “dishonest” list
- Authorities will enhance inspections of their work to ensure that they’re in compliance with the law
