China Waives E-commerce Export Returns from Import Duties, VAT

Goods returned from exports on E-commerce platforms will be exempted from import duties, import value-added tax and consumption tax, according to a statement posted by the Ministry of Finance.

  • Effective between Jan.1 and Dec. 31, 2027
  • The move is aimed at supporting the development of new cross-border e-commerce business
