Colombia will hold another value-added tax holiday later this month as part of efforts to revive the struggling economy, President Ivan Duque announced.
The tax holiday—which applies to a wide range of goods including electronic appliances, sporting equipment, toys, and farming supplies—will take place Nov. 21.
“The measures we have taken as a government mean that Christmas is coming early this year, and at the same time, give a boost to the Colombian economy, create jobs and support micro, small, medium, and large companies,” the president said late Nov. 4.
