Republicans sought to kick off President Donald Trump’s second term by enacting a new tax law that built on lucrative tax benefits first passed in their 2017 tax, hoping to woo more US companies with large international presences to come back.

The law includes a deduction on income made from export sales for companies making both tangible and intangible US investments, along with preserving the 21% corporate rate. Those policies and others are piquing company interest.
