Coronavirus Won’t Stop Digital Tax Talks, OECD Says

As the novel coronavirus plunges the world into chaos, the OECD is still aiming for a July 1 digital tax agreement, the group said Tuesday.

“The OECD Secretariat team is working full steam on the project and meetings with delegates are being held remotely,” the organization said in a statement.

Groups of government officials working on the project will hold their scheduled meetings virtually in the coming weeks, “on schedule,” the OECD said.
