Corporate Taxes Scrutinized Under Spain’s Covid Recovery Plan

Spain will look to corporations, the digital economy and environmental levies in a drive to boost revenue, according to the road map for tax overhaul the government presented Wednesday.

“Adapting the tax system to the 21st century” will be a key part of the plan, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez told Parliament in introducing the 200-page recovery fund spending plan, which says tax reform is needed to boost revenue to shore up public finances hit hard by the pandemic.
