Croatia Gazettes Ordinance Amending VAT Rules

The Croatian Official Gazette Jan. 2 published Ordinance No. 7, amending VAT rules. The ordinance includes measures: 1) increasing the threshold for VAT-exempt gifts to 22 euros (US$24) from 21 euros (US$23); 2) allowing tax base reductions related to discounts, revocations, and inability to collect overdue receivables; 3) increasing the VAT exemption threshold to 100 euros (US$109) from 98 euros (US$107) for specific deliveries of goods by passengers from the EU; 4) increasing the threshold to 110,000 euros (US$120,090) from 106,178 euros (US$115,918) to qualify for quarterly reporting; 5) increasing the threshold to 40,000 euros (US$43,669) from 39,816 euros (US$43,468) ...
