Croatia MOF Seeks Comments on Draft Bill to Extend Reduced VAT Rate on Heating-Related Supplies

The Croatian Ministry of Finance Feb. 26 opened a consultation on a draft bill to extend, to March 31, 2026, from March 31, 2025, the 5 percent reduced VAT rate on supplies of natural gas and of heating from thermal stations, including fees for these supplies, and supplies of firewood, pellets, briquettes, and wood chips.
