Croatia Parliament Considers Bill to Amend Fiscalization Act VAT Provisions

The Croatian Parliament (Sabor) Nov. 27 accepted for consideration Bill No. PZ 229, to amend Fiscalization Act VAT provisions. The bill includes measures to: 1) change the filing deadline for reports and declarations on supplies of goods to other EU countries, VAT returns, and summary returns to the last day of the month following the end of the tax period; 2) remove the requirement for recipients to consent to accepting electronic invoices where issuance is mandatory for domestic deliveries between taxpayers with registered offices in Croatia; 3) eliminate certain forms, like the report on domestic supplies that transfer tax liability; ...
