The Croatian Parliament (Sabor) July 5 accepted for consideration Bill Nos. PZ 35 and PZ 36, to amend the VAT law. The bill includes measures to: 1) increase the VAT threshold for small taxpayers to 60,000 euros (US$64,975) from 40,000 euros (US$43,317); and 2) establish requirements for an entity to be defined as a small taxpayer, including that an entity’s value of goods delivered or services performed in the previous or current calendar year did not exceed 60,000 euros.
