Croatia Tax Agency Clarifies VAT Rate for LPG

The Croatian Tax Administration May 31 clarified the VAT rate for liquified petroleum gas (LPG). The clarification includes: 1) a 13 percent VAT rate for the supply of natural gas and heating from heating stations, including delivery fees; 2) a reduced VAT rate of 5 percent is charged on deliveries of natural gas, including fees related to the supplies, effective April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023; and 3) LPG is subject to the 25 percent VAT rate because it’s not a natural gas.
