The Czech Official Gazette Dec. 27 published Regulation No. 396, increasing the minimum wage rates. The regulation includes measures: 1) increasing the minimum hourly wage rate to 112.50 Czech korunas (US$5.05) from 103.80 korunas (US$4.66); 2) increasing the minimum monthly wage to 18,900 korunas (US$848.74) from 17,300 korunas (US$776.89); and 3) increasing the minimum wages for different workgroup classifications to between 112.50 korunas and 225 korunas (US$10.10) per hour, and between 18,900 korunas and 37,800 korunas (US$1,697.49) per month.
