The Czech Financial Administration Jan. 16 announced the Feb. 2 filing deadline for annual real estate tax returns. The announcement includes that: 1) the return must be filed only if a taxpayer acquired, sold, donated, or changed ownership of immovable property over the past year, or has made changes to the property that impacts the amount of tax; and 2) for taxpayers not meeting these filing criteria, the Tax Agency will automatically determine the tax based on data from prior years.
