Democratic Republic of the Congo Tax Agency Announces April 2026 Tax Declaration, Payment Deadline

The Congolese Direction Generale des Impots May 8 issued Official Communique No. 01/022, announcing the May 15 declaration and payment deadline for April 2026 taxes. The deadline applies to: 1) monthly withholding of individual income tax (IRPP) on income from salary and similar income, movable capital, and capital gains; 2) the exceptional levy on companies employing expatriate personnel (DPE); 3) the levy on amounts paid to nonresident service providers (DPS); 4) the levy on income from movable capital paid to nonresident individuals (DPCM); and 5) VAT.
