The Danish Parliament (Folketinget) Feb. 28 accepted for consideration Bill No. L 119, to amend various tax laws. The bill includes measures to: 1) exempt VAT on small business turnover up to 50,000 Danish kroner (US$7,251), and up to 300,000 kroner (US$43,507) for a first sale of a taxable person’s artwork, effective Jan. 1, 2025; 2) allow small businesses established in other EU countries to benefit from the exemption if their annual turnover doesn’t exceed 100,000 euros (US$108,148); 3) repeal the special VAT rule for electricity and gas trading; 4) introduce reimbursement on tax-adjusted goods that are commercially supplied abroad, ...
