Denmark’s Government to Cut Taxes on Food by DKK6 Billion a Year

Denmark’s government agrees with a broad majority in parliament to reduce value-added tax by DKK6 billion per year, starting in 2028, according to a statement from the finance ministry.

  • VAT cuts will target food items and political parties behind agreement will now discuss if reductions should mainly be for vegetables and fruit
