Dominican Republic Tax Agency Extends Tax Payment Deadlines Due to Coronavirus

The Dominican General Directorate of Internal Revenue March 18 issued a notice extending tax payment deadlines for 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Deadlines are extended to: 1) April 30 from March 31, for individuals’ first installment payment under the simplified tax regime (RST); 2) April 30 from March 31, for entities’ first installment payments for income and purchases under the RST; and 3) April 30 from March 30, for individuals’ and estates’ income tax payments.
