Dominican Republic Tax Agency Issues Notice on Tax Credit for E-Invoicing Implementation

The Dominican General Directorate of Internal Revenue Feb. 10 issued Notice No. 05-25, regarding a tax credit for e-invoicing implementation. The notice explains that: 1) the authorized tax credit is applicable to various tax obligations, in the same fiscal year in which the credit is granted, including income tax, income tax advances, tax on assets, and Operational ITBIS; 2) the maximum limit for the tax credit is set at 2 million Dominican pesos (US$32,161); 3) the application for the credit must be submitted within six months after publication of the notice; 4) in order to take advantage of the tax ...
