Ecuador Gazettes Decree Reducing VAT Rate on Tourism Services Due to Coronavirus

The Ecuadorian Official Gazette Jan. 31 published Decree No. 339 reducing the VAT rate on tourism services due to the coronavirus pandemic. The decree includes a measure reducing the VAT rate to 8 percent from 12 percent for the services provided during annual listed holidays up to a maximum of 12 days.
