Estonia Parliament Considers Bill to Reduce VAT Rate on Media, Food Products

The Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) Nov. 12 accepted for consideration Bill No. 539 SE, to reduce the VAT rate to five percent from 22 percent, on: 1) physical and electronic press publications, subject to restrictions; and 2) food products, including potatoes, fruits, and vegetables.
