Estonia Parliament Considers Eight Bills to Reduce Individual Income Tax Rate, General VAT Rate

The Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) Sept. 13 accepted for consideration eight bills, Nos. 263 SE, 264 SE, 265 SE, 266 SE, 267 SE, 268 SE, 269 SE, and 270 SE, to reduce the individual income tax rate for residents and nonresidents, and the standard VAT rate. The existing individual income tax and VAT rates are 20 percent. The bills would enter into force Jan. 1, 2024. [Estonia, Parliament, 09/13/23]
