Estonia Tax Agency Extends VAT Exemption, Zero-Rate for PPE, Medical Devices Due to Coronavirus

The Estonian Tax and Customs Board July 28 extended the VAT exemption and zero-rate application to Oct. 31 from July 31 for personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical devices, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The extension applies to: 1) imports and intra-community acquisitions; and 2) national transfers. [Estonia, Tax and Customs Board, 07/28/20]
