EU Countries Aim for Tax Dispute Commission Sign-Off by Year End

Ten EU countries are aiming to sign an agreement by the end of the year to create a cross-border tax dispute resolution commission that would improve the speed and efficiency of mutual agreement procedures.

The governments of Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Sweden finalized technical negotiations on the commission and a formal sign-off could be possible this year, according to a spokesperson for Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance.
