EU Deal on Minimum Tax Possible in June, France’s Le Maire Says

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said an agreement on implementing a global minimum corporate tax in Europe is possible by the end of June despite Poland repeatedly blocking a deal.

Le Maire has set the target of getting the necessary unanimous backing for a directive on the matter during France’s presidency of the European Union.
