EU Parliament Draft Calls for Harmonized, Bloc-Wide Tax Base

The European Parliament’s tax subcommittee will debate a document calling for a singular consolidated tax base across the bloc.

Slovak representative Ľudovít Ódor said a new bill simplifying company law “must aim for a single consolidated corporate tax base for participating companies across the EU,” according a draft opinion dated March 19 but published Wednesday.
