EU to Bring Back Digital Taxes If OECD Deal Flops, Official Says

The European Union would revive the idea of a bloc-wide digital tax if the OECD-led international talks to overhaul taxation of some of the world’s largest companies fail, a senior EU tax official said Thursday.

The EU last year put work on a digital levy on hold, after the apparent success in October of the global tax agreement.
