EU-Wide Digital Tax, Other Proposals Need New Look, Poland Says

The European Commission should amend the package of revenue measures it is contemplating to meet its funding needs, the Polish presidency of the bloc recommended, since member countries can’t agree on tax proposals on the table—including a digital services tax.

Still, multinational digital companies should contribute fairly to the EU’s funding, Poland said.
