European Commission Opens State Aid Investigation Into Polish Grant, Tax Exemption to Chemical Company

The European Commission (EC) Oct. 31 opened an investigation to assess whether two support measures totaling 39 million euros (US$43.5 million) granted to a Polish chemical company are in line with the EU rules on regional state aid.
