The Council of European Union Oct. 5 updated the EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions. The changes include: 1) moving Anguilla, Dominica and Seychelles to the grey list from the blacklist, and to grant these jurisdictions a supplementary review by the Global Forum; 2) removing Australia, Eswantini and Maldives from the grey list because they implemented all necessary reforms to comply with the EU’s criteria; and 3) adding Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Malaysia, North Macedonia, Qatar and Uruguay to the watchlist.
