Stellantis NV Chairman John Elkann is facing a new legal claim from his mother, Margherita Agnelli, who moved to join a criminal tax case against the Fiat heir as a civil party.

Margherita Agnelli, 70, is seeking damages for alleged moral and reputational harm over what her lawyers described as a fraudulent scheme tied to her parents’ succession and the ownership of the family holding company Dicembre, according to a statement.
