Finland has proposed reducing the broadcasting tax for individuals and increasing the value-added tax rate for broadcasting.
The proposals would reduce broadcasting tax income, which funds the nation’s public broadcasting service, by an estimated €25 million ($27 million) in 2025 and raise VAT collection by about €19 million a year, Finland’s finance ministry said Thursday.
