EU cross-border tax reporting requirements will need tweaks if they are to be expanded to domestic-only businesses, the Finnish Tax Administration said in a report Friday.
The FTA made the observations in an update report on the application of an EU directive that requires multinational entities and their intermediaries to report any cross-border arrangement that could be used to avoid tax.
The measure known as DAC 6 was transposed into Finnish law in 2019. At the time, the country’s parliament required the FTA to produce a report on the efficacy of the measure in combating tax avoidance by multinationals. ...
