Finland President Signs Law Extending VAT Exemption for Medical Supplies Due to Coronavirus

The Finnish President Oct. 16 signed a law extending the VAT exemption to Oct. 31 from July 31 for various medical supplies used to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The extended exemption applies to sales, imports, and EU intra-community acquisitions of goods used for the testing and treatment of the coronavirus from Jan. 30 to Oct. 31.
